I have a docker container running on my droplet which is a fast API and I bind it to port 8000, I have also done port mapping and allowed port 8000 on my firewall but still unable to access it. Also, the container is working fine on the local machine but not on digital ocean droplet

Hi @nitish848,
Although you’ve mentioned you’ve allowed port 8000 on your Droplet, make sure you’ve allowed it for both incoming and outgoing connections.
Additionally, once you run your docker container, run the command:
to make sure you are actually using the said port.
Hello could you help me,
I check netstat I have connection port 8000, but I can’t access it via IP Public.
Thanks.
Hello @nitish848
Can you verify that the container starts with no issues? Does everything looks fine when you check with
docker ps
?You can also enter the container and check that the service is running.
