not able to connect

Kubernetes

hi,
just set up a cluster from my windows machine and downloaded the config with doclt

connecting with kubectl gives the following error: “Unable to connect to the server: x509: certificate signed by unknown authority”

please help

@psinzig It’s not clear what steps you have performed to access your cluster. Thus, please provide some additional details as to what commands you have entered in the command line to generate these errors.

  • did the following:
    -doctl kubernetes cluster kubeconfig save <CLUSTERID>
    Notice: Adding cluster credentials to kubeconfig file found in “C:\Users\USERNAME/.kube/config”
    Notice: Setting current-context to <CONTEXT>

    -kubectl get nodes
    Unable to connect to the server: x509: certificate signed by unknown authority
