I just bought a droplet but i am not able to ssh into it. I haven’t set up ssh keys yet. I am trying to login as the root user with the provided password but it isn’t connecting.

Login to your DigitalOcean <a href=“https://cloud.digitalocean.com/droplets”>Control Panel</a> and make sure that your droplet’s <code>Status</code> is “Active.”
Are you able to log in to your droplet through the Remote Console? If so, run these commands once you’re in and you should be able to SSH into it: <br> <br><pre>rm /etc/ssh/ssh_host_* <br>/usr/sbin/dpkg-reconfigure openssh-server</pre>
