Centos 7 droplet with freshly upgraded do-agent. How do I troubleshoot do-agent to resolve this?

If a volume is mounted to a Droplet, and the Droplet is on, I can check how much space is used using the df command. But if the Droplet is off, or experiencing some issue that prevents me from logging in and running df, is there some other way to check how much space is used? The API only seems to show the total size of the Volume.
I'm creating spaces with my python server via boto3.
Is it possible to move a space to a project via boto3 or the API?
