Question

openSUSE image

Is it possible to add openSUSE as operating system? I'm quite used to it so I'd like to continue using it here.

I wonder this didn’t get solved. This is a popular distribution with unique options such as Tumbleweed rolling binary distro and a public Open Build Service instance for the community. It shouldn’t be too hard to have a latest Leap version included. Not harder than Fedora or anything else.

Just trying out the official pre-built image from SUSE. Upload from URL doesn’t work. It says a perfectly reachable URL is unreachable. The error message even disappears after a few seconds for some weird reason.

Now trying to upload via my own computer due to the defunct URL upload. It’s not possible to submit the form without explicitly choosing distro to be Unknown. I wouldn’t say it’s Unknown, to be honest. I am almost surprised myself that I’m even willing to pay for the custom image for a missing generic distro image.

I’m getting very strong recommendations towards Digital Ocean but now I’m in doubt.

But Fedora does not have SuseStudio. I vote for openSUSE!!!!
The best way to make this happen is by upvoting it on our feedback page:

We build out a lot of our features based on our customers' requests!
Thanks Etel. I just gave the idea 3 votes (and the duplicate, too). But with this few votes I don't think it'll happen, soon. Looks like I've to stick with Debian for now.
What a pity, no OpenSUSE support?

That's a showstopper for me.
I would really like openSUSE as well...

I would also like to second the need for openSUSE.
