Hey there, my tech chops aren’t great but I’ll have a crack at explaining the issue.
Our site is consistently down with the error - Error establishing a database connection
Our developer who is no longer with the team says it is due to the password for the database automatically changing.
I have no idea how this would happen but if you have a clue how we could fix it that would be great. You can have a look at our site www.creativesuburbs.com

Sounds like MySQL is being killed by oom because you’re running out of memory. Check your syslog.

Is it the database password ??
It is highly unlikely that if you are using standard MySQL database, the database connection password gets change automatically, unless your project has complex coding which changes the password as per code requirement and then updates your website application (eg WordPress) config file automatically…
Kindly provide more info about your setup…
