I loaded phpmyadmin following the instructions via digital ocean. However when I try to login I get the following error
#1045 - Access denied for user ‘root’@‘localhost’ (using password: YES)

It seems like you haven’t provided the proper password for your root user when logging in.
If you try and login to mysql via your shell does the error appear again?
