I have a droplet running CentOS 7.4 and WHM / cPanel installed. I have pointed my root domain to the server and created my own nameservers (ns1.mydomain.com and ns2.mydomain.com). I can successfully create addon domains by adding the custom nameservers to the DNS settings at the domain registrar and have done so with a few sites. The only problem I am having is adding G Suite MX records to my domain in cPanel. For some reason, emails are being bounced back with the error 550 550 The mail server could not deliver mail to mydomain@mydomain The account or domain may not exist, they may be blacklisted, or missing the proper dns entries.
For some reason emails are being sent to that account and I’m not sure why.
I can access the Mail Delivery Reports in WHM and see all the bounce backs. Not sure what to do to solve this issue.
