Problem while creating remote MYSQL DB in droplet

Hello Folks, I’ve followed the steps which are mentioned in the article but still could not connect my DB remotely.

Did you, by chance, add a firewall for the server?

If you did, you will need to allow it there as well.

Hi @Sayandeep,

I’ll suggest checking @JonsJava’s suggestion. If you have a firewall added from your Control Panel you’ll need to allow the connection from there as well.

Additionally, can you share your UFW status from your droplet, maybe the MySQL connections were not allowed for your IP Address?
