I tried to enable FastCGI PHP as per this post:

No luck. Could not enable the fastCGI.
phpinfo still shows: Server API Apache 2.0 Handler
But there is error that apache reports:
AH00526: Syntax error on line 4 of /etc/apache2/mods-enabled/fastcgi.conf: FastCgiIpcDir /var/lib/apache2/fastcgi: access for server (uid 1000, gid 1000) failed: write not allowed
The folder /var/lib/apache2/fastcgi the owner is www-data:www-data
Any ideas?
