I think that my vps automatically turns in stand by mode when is idle

That shouldn’t happen by default. Do you have any logs that show it happening?

I think that my vps automatically turns in stand by mode when is idle how can i see/configure the settings in centos 6 ?

I’m not sure what you’re referring to – what does What about standby when is idle ? mean?

Done , i will see if still gets me the out of memory error…
What about standby when is idle ? how can i deactivate that ?

Sorry for my bad english

Try adding swap:

echo “vm.swappiness=0” | sudo tee -a /etc/sysctl.cnf
sudo sysctl -p
sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/swapfile bs=1024 count=256k
sudo mkswap /swapfile
sudo chown root:root /swapfile
sudo chmod 0600 /swapfile
sudo swapon /swapfile
echo “/swapfile none swap sw 0 0” | sudo tee -a /etc/fstab

That should fix the running out of memory issues.

My website goes down , the droplet is on but tells me someting like: Out of memory… and i must reboot the droplet in order to fix the issue

What do you mean by
My droplet keeps getting out of memory
? Do programs keep crashing ?
