Dear community,
Today I installed Redmine 3.0 (icw Ubuntu 14.04) running on the Google Cloud service, and unfortunately I’m facing some difficulties with setting up my email (e.g. sending the Redmine notifications to my Gmail account, or customer’ account when it comes to sending logins). For setting up the email in the SSH tool I used the following data, but without results.
production:
email_delivery:
delivery_method: :smtp
smtp_settings:
enable_starttls_auto: true
address: "smtp.gmail.com"
port: '587'
domain: "smtp.gmail.com"
authentication: :plain
user_name: "your_email@gmail.com"
password: "your_password"
Can someone help me :)?
Best regards, RJC

Hello,
This looks good. Can you clarify what errors you are getting and what troubleshooting you have done? It’s important to provide as detailed as information as you can when asking for help. This gives us the tools to help you.
Another thing to note is that some accounts have SMTP traffic blocked. So you will want to open a ticket through support and ensure this is not the case. You can open a ticket by going to the “Support” tab while logged into your account.
