Question

Requests to droplet ConnectionRefused after configuring droplet

I am new to using digital ocean so there might be a configuration that I am missing. After setting up a droplet an Ubuntu droplet to run an IPFS node and configuring a firewall allowing TCP inbound requests on all ports in addition I have tried 22, 80, 4001, 8080, and 8081, I am unable to make a GET request to the droplet like the following. http://my_droplet_ip:8080/ipfs/bafkreidpaj2tg7lagnmb4a2nbfyd5ftdp7kcs76gxjoel45rzkbdd2uw5q

Any help would be beneficial. If needed I can provide further information regarding my project/droplet.

Thank you

Hello @giantceruleancrab

I would recommend to double check the firewall configuration as it seems like it currently either blocks all incoming connections or the ports are open for a certain IPs
