Resizing droplet CPU and RAM only

I’m currently on a 2GB RAM 50GB SSD $12/month droplet.
If I upgrade to 4GB RAM $24/month, CPU and RAM only, I’ll stay 50GB SSD and I can go back to 2GB RAM later, right?
And If I decided to stay with 4GB RAM $24/month, will I be able to 80GB SSD later for no extra charge?

You can’t downgrade Droplets, you can only upgrade them. For data integrity reasons, DigitalOcean don’t provide the ability to downsize a Droplet through the control panel, but you can still switch to a smaller Droplet using common migration strategies. Basically, you would need to create a snapshot of the droplet, then destroy it and create a new $5 droplet-based off the snapshot you just took.
