Safari "This Connection Is Not Private" w/ Let's Encrypt

Let's Encrypt

I added a Let’s Encrypt certificate for my domain but when I try to access the website via Safari I still get the caveat that the website might be trying to steal personal or financial information. Is there anything I can do with a DO cert that can fix this? Or should I just bring my own certificate? Can I do this with a third party vendor? (Still new to ubuntu) Website works fine on Chrome, though. Thank you for your consideration!

I am having similar problem. Did you figure it out?

  • DOcert ended up being sufficient, it just wasn’t properly implemented. I resorted to a third party looking at the code to help, I’ll try to find a specific explanation for what the issue was.
