I’m trying to follow this instructions for a DigitalOcean managed kubernetes cluster: https://kubernetes.io/docs/tasks/administer-cluster/encrypt-data/.
But i’m stuck at step 3 where you have to add flag ‘–encryption-provider-config’ to the kube-apiserver Pod. I don’t see any kube-apiserver in my DigitalOcean managed kubernetes cluster. Does anyone know where I can find this or how you would go about encrypting secrets in a DigitalOcean managed kubernetes cluster.

Hey @mikec655,
With the Managed DigitalOcean Kubernetes service, you get to deploy Kubernetes clusters without the complexities of handling the control plane and containerized infrastructure. This means that you can not make changes to the control plane directly.
The best thing to do to get your voice heard regarding this would be to head over to our Product Ideas board and post a new idea, including as much information as possible for what you’d like to see implemented.
Hope that helps!
