Followed a DO tutorial, created a droplet and got the Hello There site up and running. Domain is pointed and working, Security Cert is installed.
I got a bit lost in Puddy and I don’t understand where my sites pages live or how to upload new ones. My background is C#/MVC. I have an Unbuntu/windows laptop and a Mac. Doesn’t matter to me which one I use.
I’m ready to start developing my site but am lost on the structure and how to upload. I started in Windows with Puddy for ssh and WinSCP for file transfer.
If I knew where my index.html is and understood routing I think that would be the next step?
Thanks!

If you’re new to command line and trying to get a website up, you should install a control panel. Makes it easy to get familiar with stuff.
Learning to manage a server from Putty can take some time. A control panel will help you get up and running quickly. It give you a GUI after initial setup. So you won’t be lost. There are many free control panels out there. I recommend Virtualmin. It’s by far the best VPS control panel I came across.
