Set environment variable path

I have installed pip on my Ubuntu 14 server. I have created a file how can i run this file globally by setting environment variable.

You can add the folder this file is in to your path by adding the following line to the .bashrc or .profile file in your home directory:

export PATH=$PATH:/path/to/your/file
