I am planning to host a website using Droplet. I noticed that the excess outbound data transfer will be charged after the free quota is used up. I am wondering whether there is way to set up a cap on the monthly outbound data transfer. What I would like to have is that the outbound data transfer will be stopped after the outbound data transfer reaches the cap. I just do not want to be surprised by a large bill. Thanks.

Hey @sandyseagreenjellyfish,
This is not currently possible, but what you could do is setup alerting so that you could be notified and take action if needed:
https://docs.digitalocean.com/glossary/alert/
Additionally, the best thing to do to get your voice heard regarding this would be to head over to our Product Ideas board and post a new idea, including as much information as possible for what you’d like to see implemented.
Hope that helps!
