Hi
I have a domain that it is pointed to one droplet, and I would like to create a subdomain that will point to a different droplet, is this possible?
This is my current dns settings: Screenshot
I tried creating a CNAME with the domain ‘dev’ and entered the domain, but that didn’t work, I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, but I’m still new to the whole dns thing
And here is my .conf file (on the other droplet, not the main) http://178.62.26.90/ben/passion4web.conf
Any ideas?
This textbox defaults to using Markdown to format your answer.
You can type !ref in this text area to quickly search our full set of tutorials, documentation & marketplace offerings and insert the link!
The configuration you have should route requests for dev.passion4web.co.uk to 178.62.26.90 and requests for www.passion4web.co.uk or passion4web.co.uk to 178.62.83.208
If you just made this most recent change you may need to allow a bit of time for cached DNS results to be updated with the DNS server your Internet connection is using.
