Setting up SoftEther VPN to work with League of Legends

Posted on April 4, 2014

Hello all, SoftEther VPN is great, but League of Legends games won’t open through it. The client logs in and champ select works fine, but the loading screen won’t open. So there should be an issue with transporting certain protocol if I’m not mistaken. I thought of connecting using OpenVpn (Using SoftEther Server) but it doesn’t work. (I followed this guide https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-setup-a-multi-protocol-vpn-server-using-softether )

Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I got the OpenVpn to work (miss read the readme), but the main question remains :P

Turns out the problem was from LoL. So now I’m solving it with Riot Support.

Hi, Did you solve your problem? I have issue with login screen using pptpd. Can you play with SoftEther?
