Question

Shared storage between centos servers

I have opencart installed into 2 server , so what is the best way to share a storage between 2 or more servers regarding to performance i have tried glusterfs but am not sure if that the best way to do it .

I can write script to do sync between the 2 server . so what is the benefit using glusterfs other than redundancy and high availability .

GlusterFS is not a bad choice at all for 2 servers. While it is possible to sync files between two servers in a more manual process doing this would make it more likely that files could become out of sync (if a change is made on one server and a request is sent to the other before the sync has happened). This is much less likely to be a problem with a shared distributed filesystem like GlusterFS.
