My VPS is Ubuntu 16.04, nginx. I’ve been on this VPS for 3 months. Now I notice that my site has slow domain look up, I found it from Google Analytics. On my previous hosting my site has 0.15 seconds average domain look up time, after moving to DO the time increased to 0.25 on average, with a lot of spikes that sometimes up to 0.5 seconds for daily average. Crazy! If I check more detailed time, on hourly average on that day, it goes to 2 seconds just for look up. How to fix this? This might hurting my SEO as my site’s rank keep decreasing since I moved to DO. Thanks a lot!!
