Question

Snowflake connection

Hey!

I’m trying to connect DigitalOcean Spaces with Snowflake through a Stage creation but I keep getting the same error:

Failure using stage area. Cause: [The AWS Access Key Id you provided is not valid.]

Credentials are correct as I’ve tested them multiple times and even created a new set to make sure they weren’t expired nor anything similar.

Has anyone experienced something similar in the past?

Hi there,

As far as I can tell from the Snowflake official documentaiton here, The DigitalOcean Spaces S3 storage is not listed as a supported storage:

https://docs.snowflake.com/en/user-guide/data-load-s3-compatible-storage#label-data-load-s3-compatible-vendors

Can you share the DDL statement that you are using? I can try to sign up for a Snowflake account and see if I can get this to work as well.

The integration should be similar to MinIO:

https://blog.min.io/minio_and_snowflake/

Have you tried setting the region to NULL?

Best,

Bobby
