Stuck with wordpress installation...

Posted June 26, 2013 4.9k views
Have followed the Nginx installation and everything was going fine right up to the point where I had to update my wordpress to the latest version...Now im stuck! I have had a quick look at https://www.digitalocean.com/community/questions/configuring-passive-ftp-so-wordpress-can-update-plugins--2 but cannot figure out how to do the rest. Something about using chmod. I have given permissions to the server user to access the file but my wordpress installation gets stuck on. Ive been looking around the net and have found you could chmod the wp-content directory however i am unsure what permissions to give it or the command to use. Thanks Oliver
