Sudo user password invalid - in most of the droplets I manage

Posted on May 19, 2016

This is a strange/highly critical issue, for some reason in all my droplets, the password for the sudo user is reset and I couldn’t execute any command with sudo privileges. How can I reset the password for the sudo user?. And also I’ve disabled root login. Could any one help me on this? This is really a serious issue and this seems to have been reset some time in the last one week, previously it was fine

what is the exact error message you are getting?

You might have to boot using the “Recovery” kernel and either enable root or create a user with sudo access. Or give your current user sudo access.
