This might seem like an odd question. I need to use VNC with my droplet. I hate the entire insecure thing. I was wondering if I could totally ditch VNC over the net and just use VPN and connect to it “locally”. I use ubuntu 14.10.

yeah this is good and i dont think there is anything wrong. I am also doing it with different provider that i have found on vpnranks and there is nothing wrong.
