Question

Team member cannot connect to droplet in cloud console.

I added a team member whom I would like to be able to run a program from the console when he needs. However when he tries to open the console to the droplet he gets a black window that says “Error: failed to get console info”. He has tried from both the console button on the droplet graphs window (root) and as a different user in the access tab. He has the same ssh keys as me. Is there another setting I must change to give him access? Thanks for your help.

Hello @smallbluestarfish

Can you confirm if you can replicate the same issue from your account? Are you able to access the droplet via ssh-client like PuTTy or using terminal?

If the droplet is not responsive you can reboot the droplet and then give it another go with the droplet console or using ssh-client.

In case the above steps are not helping and you’re still unable to access the droplet then you can get in touch with our support team and they will investigate this for you.
