Nginx

All the images of my website suddenly are not appearing.

ERRCONNECTIONRESET this is what I’m receiving.

I check nginx error.log and there’s nothing there.

Hi there,

Are you using any kind of CDN for your images? If so, can you try to disable it temporarily as a test to see if this fixes the problem?

I could suggest making sure that the images are actually present on your server.

Bobby

Hi @bobbyiliev, thank you for your answer.

So, I check and all the images are here:

http://revistagarupa.com:8888/A2Wrb14Od1iimufmMa6nbMdjCBs=/0x400/revistagarupa.com/media/img/edicao/ilustracao_garupa_capa_2500_Vpzfvd3.png

I check at the terminal and I can find it there, and I also checked my disk space.

The strange thing is that all images stop working together, the background is the only image that was not affected.

  • Hi there @revistagarupa,

This is quite interesting, it looks like that the images are served by a service that is running on port 8888, what has happened is that most likely the service has crashed so now it is no longer serving the images.

To fix that you would need to start the service again, however it would really depend on your setup. For example, if you are using Docker, you would need to start the Docker service and if it is a Node.js service, you would need to start it as well.

One thing that you could do is to use the history command to see what commands were run on the server in the past which could point you to the right direction. Another thing you could do is check your server logs and see if there are any error messages for the crashed service.

Hope that this helps, let me know how it goes.
    Regards,
    Bobby
