This is the new “user friendly” error message that WP gives users if their site has a fatal error. It hides the actual error for security reasons and you have to figure it out as Bobby explains.

However mostly 99% will be caused by a plugin (or maybe theme). You can check error log to see which plugin, or disable all plugins and then enable one-by-one to see which plugin caused your website crash.

Hi there @Hov,

I would recommend, setting WP_DEBUG to true in your wp-config.php file. That way you should be able to see the actual error that is causing the problem rather than the generic error that you are seeing at the moment.

For more information regarding debugging in WordPress you could take a look at the official documentation here:

https://wordpress.org/support/article/debugging-in-wordpress/

Once you’ve enabled the debug mode, feel free to share the actual error here so that I could try to advise you further.

Regards, Bobby
