Let me begin by saying that overall DigitalOcean is a great service, supported by an extremely useful concept.
I would however like to highlight the need for better communication to customers. For example, if there are issues with the droplet creation process then be proactive in notifying customers, perhaps through a status alert in the droplet control panel.
I realise there is a dedicated website for the overall DO status but currently there’s clearly an issue with the droplet creation process but nothing on the website indicating this. An alert could highlight such issues and at least let customers know that staff are aware of such problems.
