This is more of a FYI for Digital Ocean staff

I have setup my account through google and unable to add comments anywhere. I was hoping to update my own ticket and I get this following error:

An error occurred when saving the comment: API call failed: POST - 403 Forbidden - {“code”:“NotAuthorized”,“message”:“Missing permissions required to perform requested action”}

Thanks for flagging – I think we’re probably missing a bit of UI here that’s leading to an unintuitive experience.

You’ll need to make sure you’ve verified your email address in your DigitalOcean Cloud account before you can post comments on Community (though if you’ve posted a question, you should also be able to post comments too).

Is there some further context to this? Where are you trying to post the comment?

Let me know if that helps, or if you’re still running into issues.
