I have a Zorin machine that I am attempting to connect to with tightVNC viewer. I have installed vncserver and viewer on my zorin box. I’m trying to connect from my windows 10 laptop. every time I enter the IP address for the laptop I get “no connection can be made because the target machine actively refused it.”
I’m really not sure what to do, do I need to open an SSH tunnel with putty? I apologize if this is a dumb question.
also: I’m not trying to anything special I just thought it would be cool to control my Zorin box from across my house
