I recently obtained SSL certification for my website but whenever I log onto my website I receive the message:

“Your connection is not private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards)”

Only sometimes I have a lock in the URL link but most times it says my connection isn’t private. How can I fix this?

Thank you

I would recommend installing an SSL certificate by following the steps here:

During the installation, you could also set up an HTTP to HTTPS redirect so that you would always be redirected to HTTPS and would not get the warning in question.

Let me know how it goes.

Let's Encrypt is a Certificate Authority (CA) that facilitates obtaining and installing free TLS/SSL certificates, thereby enabling encrypted HTTPS on web servers. Currently, the entire process of obtaining and installing a certificate is fully automated on both Apache and Nginx with the use of Certbot. In this guide, we'll use Certbot to obtain a free SSL certificate for Apache on Ubuntu 20.04, and make sure this certificate is set up to renew automatically.
