Hi There. I have some trouble with internet speed in my DigitalOcean droplet. I try to send some files via SCP, but connection speed goes down up to 7 kb/s. It takes a long time to send a 16 MB file. Also there are some troubles with connection to droplet via SSH. Low internet speed makes the connection very uncomfortable. As a result, I can’t work.
I’ve checked my connection speed, everything is okay. So the problem is on the droplet side.

Have you run a ping from your computer to the droplet. Do that and paste in your ping times here. Also run a traceroute.
Then ssh to the droplet, and ping and traceroute to another server - and compare the results.
Hi @gratin1,
I’ll recommend going through what @Sheldon suggested. Another way you can test this is using the mtr package. The basic use of the mtr command is to view the traceroute report for a remote machine. All you need to to do is provide the domain name or IP address of the remote system with the mtr command and the output will display the traceroute report in real time.
