Hey there!
Apps actually aren’t supported in projects just yet. As such you can’t add an app to a specific project. However, DNS settings are account wide and you can configure your subdomain to point to your app from the domains section of your account.
If you are using our nameservers for your domain, adding your domain to your app will automatically create the correct DNS entries as well. App Platform Domains
App Platform also does not use droplets. App platform uses containers for applications hosted on it. No droplet would need to be created to use App Platform.
