Hi! Right now if you require a rescue ISO be mounted to your system you would need to open a support ticket. Currently we utilize an Arch ISO as Ubuntu does not provide a LiveDVD that boots to a CLI interface.
i cant use arch linux cause i can’t use apt-get and
then use the debian LIVE dvd
Normally the rescue environment is used to fix your system back to how it used to be so you can then log in and do the other operations within your real OS. There’s usually no reason to use apt-get.
i’m trying this http://forum.kimsufi.com/showthread.php?23526-tutorial-Alternative-Linux-installation-methods-e-g-VNC-unsquashfs
and image when doing pacman -Syu
Currently I am not sure the method outlined would be possible. Droplets currently boot from external kernel images and the grub configuration on your droplet is ignored so attempting something like this would be tricky to say the least if possible at all.
Maybe add option for debian livecd
Or use own kernel
