Ubuntu Core instance

When will DigitalOcean support UbuntuCore ?

I have a simple app that is a snap package, all I want is to be able to launch an UbuntuCore instance and just install that single snap package on it.

While I can do all that on a normal VPS, I want to be able to do that with UbuntuCore, a) because I am very interested in that technology and b). its inherently more secure.

Hey friend!

Currently there is no active plan to introduce this (nor an active intent to not introduce it), but this is a topic in which we can be influenced by customers. I honestly haven't seen much of a demand for it in the last couple of years, so I'd love to hear from more people who would like it. Either here or on our UserVoice page:

I should note that asking for people to show support for or provide feedback on a request is not a guarantee that something will be implemented if X support is given, but it helps us to have an idea of how important things are to customers at any given time. When discussing new features on our platform, it can be quite a powerful conversation piece to say "This is how many customers have told us that they want this."
