Hi, I've been using ubuntu server terminal here for I while, I want to install an UI for it, which seems easy to do. But then how would you remote login? since you can't use ssh anymore. Does anyone have a link to a quick tutorial?

since you can't use ssh anymore.

That is incorrect. You will still be able to SSH in after installing a GUI.

VNC will allow you to connect to your server remotely, as well as be able to use your keyboard, mouse, and monitor to interface with that server. Get it setup on your Ubuntu 12 cloud server.
Bookmarked the link, big thanks!
Kamal Nasser, when I was trying to install the packages, the process failed due to a "Cannot allocate memory" error. Does this mean that my instance, which is the most basic one, doesn't have enough memory to support the VNC?

Linux swaps allow a system to harness more memory than was originally physically available. Here's how to set up a linux swap file on Ubuntu 12.04
