Unable to add my domain to my new project

referring to https://www.digitalocean.com/community/questions/domain-name-already-exists-c789e346-17fd-49f3-b9a5-fc532ee122cd

I am unable to add domain that was used for my previous testing project. Now I have actually already destroyed the droplet together with the project and created a new one - named bjy. please help deactivate it so that I can use it again.

Hello there,

The system performs a DNS lookup to see if the domain has already been added to DigitalOcean. If it has, you’ll receive a message that says Data domain example.com: Name already exists. If the domain has not been previously added to DigitalOcean’s DNS service, it will be added.

Please open a support ticket from within your account and include the domain name. You’ll need to verify ownership with a TXT record generated by the support and then they’ll remove the domain from the previous account so you can get it added.
