Unable to receive email

Dear All,

Im trying to migrate from Siteground to Digital Ocean Droplets

however I encounter the mail server issue ( I cant receive any incoming emails)

I have change the nameserver in my domain provider I have added MX record , CNAME , SPF and DKIM, not sure what else Im lacking.

Right now, Im able to send email to hotmail (but not gmail) and not receiving any incoming email

Hi @pikerr18,

Have you configured any mail service on your droplet? It order to send and receive messages, you’ll need to install one. I’ll recommend using Postfix. Luckily, DigitalOcean have a pretty good tutorial on the installation and configuration of the service -

If you’ve configured one but you still can’t send out e-mails to gmail, it’s possible you’ve been rate-limited based on some factors. I’ll recommend using this website - . It’s a really good e-mail tester which will show you all your areas you need to work on.
