Hi Gabriele! It's hard to give you a good answer without more information about your problem. How did you install phpMyAdmin? What other software are you running? Was there anything that changed recently? Is the problem only with phpMyAdmin? On Ubuntu, you can uninstall it with:

sudo apt-get remove phpmyadmin

While many users require access to a database management system like MySQL, not all users feel comfortable interacting with the MySQL prompt on a daily basis. In this guide, we'll discuss how to install and secure phpMyAdmin, a web management interface for MySQL, on an Ubuntu 14.04 server.

Make sure your services are up and running.
service nginx restart
service php-fpm restart
service mysqld restart

  • Hallo,

I tried to uninstall and re-install phpmyadmin but it does not work. When I type http:// http:// 178.62.140.48 / phpmyadmin I see the homepage of the site.

    Please help my.

    Thank you!

  • Have you even configured phpmyadmin to work with your webserver ?
Check the webserver logs to better debug the issue.

  • Please how can i see the logs? Yes, phpmyadmin is configured to work with Nginx.

    Thank you!

  • The default paths to the logs is /var/log
However, you can get the correct path in the NGINX configuration file.
