Use droplet as VPN (HideMyAss style)?

I'm wondering if it is possible to use DigitalOcean to set up a VPN that will allow me to watch Amazon Prime instant videos from outside of the US on either an ipad, a windows laptop, or both. If so is there a guide? I saw the setting up VPN through PPTP but I wasn't sure how that would work on my side (windows laptop/ipad)

Thanks, I did this guide but it only gets me about halfway there. Then it just says "You should modify the client configuration file to match what you'd like it to do." and dumps me into several very long files to edit with no instructions. Can you give additional help?
It tells you what you might want to edit right after that:
You can also modify several values in the following file to match what you'd like. In order to do this, you first change the 'remote' option so it can connect to your cloud server's IP address on whichever port you configured your OpenVPN to run on. Then change the 'cert' and 'key' values to reflect the names of your own certificate and key. After these values have been edited you can save the file by typing in Ctrl+X, type 'y', then hit Enter.
ok, apparently not getting any real help here. must have to be a debian and networking expert to set this up. thanks anyway.
