I have created my account as a member of a team account (I think, not sure, since I don’t know where I can check this).
Now I’d like to create a droplet and have it billed to me personally. Can I use the same account or do I need to create a new one? What do I need to take care of when creating a new one (will the system allow me to do it) ?

The owner of the account you are a team member of should be able to remove you as a member, which would let you be billed personally, and use your account as an individual.
