Question

VNC - using a VM as a desktop

Posted May 28, 2013 5.8k views
Hello! Is it possible to VNC into a VM? I've created a 'Ubuntu 12.10 x64 Desktop' and I'm trying to access it with VNC viewer. I've installed the vino package and tried to enable it. Is it even possible? Thank you, Paul

Hello,

We have an article on installing VNC on an Ubuntu droplet: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-setup-vnc-for-ubuntu-12

VNC will allow you to connect to your server remotely, as well as be able to use your keyboard, mouse, and monitor to interface with that server. Get it setup on your Ubuntu 12 cloud server.
Man I should have seen that :( I sincerely appreciate your help Kamal.
