I’ve just blogged my setup of a DO VPS with webmin/virtualmin. The step by step instructions are here . I think it works well. I looked at a few solutions before picking webmin/virtualmin. It’s probably over complex for my needs but better that than not having a feature. Speed wise it is a lot faster than my old shared hosting.
Yes, it is possible.

<br>I recently installed Webmin & Virtualmin on the Ubuntu 12.04 LAMP image. It took some extra configurations and file changing as Ubuntu doesn’t play nicely with Webmin’s default settings, but it is working properly after I changed what was erroring out!
Hi there,
<br>
<br>I have a DO droplet running virtualmin, i’ve used virtualmin for the last 4 years and find it great, i have always used centos as my OS so install that image on your droplet and run “wget http://software.virtualmin.com/gpl/scripts/install.sh” to download the install file and then just excute that file. you can read more about it on this page http://www.virtualmin.com/download.html
<br>Cheers Ken
