I didn’t quite get it. How can someone exceed 720 hours monthly if there are 720 hours in a month. Or the hours in cloud ecosystem counted in a different way?
I want to have a $5 monthly plan and I can’t pay anything above it as I am just a beginner in web development, I want to run wordpress and laravel on it, especially laravel. Is there any option where I can set a limit of $5 monthly?

Hello,
According to the official pricing here all Droplets are billed hourly up to a monthly cap of 672 hours (the number of hours in 4 weeks).
This basically means that if you go beyond 672 hours, you will not be charged by hours but monthly
So let’s have the following example, let’s say you use a $5 Droplet and let’s say it is August which has 31 days:
So rather than paying
744 * $0.007
, which would be more than $5, you would pay a fixed fee of $5.Another thing that you need to keep in mind is that standard taxes will be included in all invoices.
Hope that this helps! Regards, Borislav
