Question

What happened to the "How to Setup a Basic IP Tables Configuration on Centos 6" tutorial?

Posted July 22, 2013 5.1k views
I thought it was a pretty decent article and have used it as a baseline for securing my servers. I've added and changed things that are specific to my server, but overall thought it was a great tutorial to teach a Linux hobbiest like me the direction to go in. Was it removed for any specific reason? If there was an issue with it (security wise) I'd like to know. Thanks!

I'm not sure what you're talking about. It was never removed, it's still there: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles/how-to-setup-a-basic-ip-tables-configuration-on-centos-6

Where do you see that it was removed?
It's no longer listed on digitalocean.com/community. You can still access it if you know the URL, but it's not a listed article anymore.
It is listed: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/community_tags/centos

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/articles is not the full list of articles. To see all of the articles, you have to browse to the 'All Articles' tag.
