When you register a demain, you can bind it to a specific IP address in the interface of your registrar. For example, you can bind example.com for it to be resolved as your DO’s droplet IP address.
So, what is the benefit redirecting your registrar’s DNS to DO ones ? Isn’t it slower ? etc, what is the point of all of this ?

Hi @remyy
There are many use-cases for being able to change name servers at the registrar. One case would be to centralize all your domains DNS in one place even though the domains might be from different registrars. Or if you registrar doesn’t provide name servers (some country TLD registrars works like this). Another case would be DDoS protection services like CloudFlare.
