Question

where are the images stored ? - laravel

Dear, I managed Digitalocean through Laravel Forge, now I find that I don’t know why Laravel Forge didn’t take the payment card.

My project is productive but I have several doubts about the management:

  1. I had it synchronized by Github, but I can’t find where they are hosted, I need to recover them and I can’t identify where they are.

  2. Is it possible to continue the management without Laravel Forge or should I re-create a custom Droplet? It is important to note that I am new to DO.

  3. In case I can manage everything without Laravel Forge, I have a problem, my computer had a problem and I had to format it. Is it possible to regenerate the ssh key?

I appreciate in advance any guidance you can give me and especially the time spent on my question.

Hello,

Laravel Forge is a great tool to help you manage your server and automate your deployment process. It is quite convenient and I use it for some of my projects.

But you could also do that without Laravel Forge, though if you want to do it with a Droplet you would need to do the server management manually.

What I personally do is to use this free to do to my initial server setup:

This will automate your server setup and you will not have to do it via Laravel Forge.

Then you could use a tool like Deployer to do your deployments.

You can recover from a lost key by following the steps here:

An alternative approach would be to use the DigitalOcean App platform so that you would not have to do any server management:
